The sounds of Epik Jones have made impact with ‘Cool It’ receiving positive feedback when first shared by Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Foxy Brown, Swizz Beatz and Busta Rhymes as a game-changing sound. Epik has strong principles creating: Entertaining People Increasing Knowledge #EPIK a motto and way of life. Jones emerged from Jamaica’s most connected high school called Kingston College that propelled him to the spotlight during teenage years. Epik Jones started as a DJ using computers when many were yet to convert from Vinyls to CDs. He carved out a career in the UK as a touring entertainer and radio jock endorsed by Missy Elliott, Pretty Ricky, Keyshia Cole, Kevin Lyttle, Mya, Spragga Benz and becoming official tour DJ/Producer for Spice and Shenseea.
Epik Jones made a breakthrough with Spice’s diss song ‘let out the donkey’ that brought the performance at Sting as a headliner with the donkey on stage as early as 2013. Spice’s ‘Captured’ mixtape followed that topped US Billboard charts, and UK/US iTunes charts. He co-produced Konshens’ first-ever iTunes number 1 with ‘Meck it Clap’ and has worked with Billboard charting and UK Pop Charting artistes Elephant Man, TOK, Tony Matterhorn, Gyptian and Stylo G. He has topped African charts in Ghana & Gambia with Shatta Wale’s ‘Dancehall Girl’.
Epik Jones has played at multiple festivals, carnivals and concerts globally in Dubai, Miami, California, Caribbean, Nice South of France, Switzerland, Portugal, and United Kingdom playing in front of 100 of Thousands. Some of the stages blessed have been Redbull stage Notting Hill Carnival, Bacardi, Reggae Sumfest, Britjam festival, Daydreams, BTR, Irie Jam and More Life festivals.
